Sprayground Information

The sprayground is now closed for the season.

The sprayground was made possible thanks to the generous support of the FARMER FAMILY FOUNDATION, and its trustees.

It is a place where people of all abilities can cool themselves on a hot day. A curving, accessible path leads to an alcove of play, water sprays, and fun.

Located in the center of the park, just east of the pool and north of the playground and game grove, all areas and spray equipment within the spray ground are positioned on a single level and on a suitable surface for play and access.

Concrete benches encircle the water play area and include large, salvaged stone panels accenting the seats and adding to the local geologic and historical theme. Seating is also available on adjacent picnic benches. Play features are included for all age groups and are located within the hardscape to create an area that is engaging with or without water. When the water is off, the area is still usable as a dynamic play area, outdoor classroom, or quiet place of respite in the urban fabric.
