3CDC is a non-profit real estate company, bringing neglected buildings and spaces (like Ziegler Park) in our center city back into use. Working in conjunction with a number of partners, including the City of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Park Board, among others, 3CDC spearheaded the effort to renovate and revitalize Ziegler Park. After serving as developer on the 18-month, $32 million renovation project, 3CDC transitioned to its role of asset manager at Ziegler Park. This role involves keeping the park safe and secure, as well as doing general maintenance and upkeep, while also overseeing events and programming at the park. 3CDC plays the same role at Fountain Square, Washington Park and Memorial Hall.

Since our formation in 2003, 3CDC has built housing of all kinds, including homeless shelters, rent-subsidized apartments, market-rate condominiums, and townhomes. We’ve built commercial spaces and filled them with restaurants, stores, service businesses and offices, encouraging our tenants to hire from the neighborhood whenever possible. We’ve built parking garages, managing them with the customer in mind by offering 24-hour attendants, civic center parking rates, and clean, well-lit parking decks. And we’ve renovated public spaces into well-programmed arenas of entertainment, attracting nearby residents as well as visitors from all over the country with quality events.

We’ve done all this for and with the support of Cincinnati’s major corporations, who formed us, fund us, and continue to advise us in all aspects of building, managing and growing a vibrant mixed-income neighborhood in downtown Cincinnati.
