Park Rules

Ziegler Park is open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM for the enjoyment of all. The use of all amenities is at your own risk. Unless authorized by permit, the following are prohibited.

Vehicles, bike riding, rollerblading or skateboarding
Stealing, damaging, or defacing property
Amplified sound or commercial activity unless authorized by permit
Solicitation
Discharging of weapons or firearms
Feeding wildlife
Leaving food or clothing
Alcohol use
Interfering with a permitted event
Drug use or other illegal activity
Glass containers
Littering
Rummaging in trash and recycling containers
Unleashed dogs, unless otherwise posted

Smoking and tobacco use are prohibited throughout the park.

Ziegler Park is closed from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, except as authorized by permit.

Be considerate: pick up after yourself and your dog, and use appropriate containers for waste. For more information, call 513-621-4400 or visit www.ZieglerPark.org.

If you fail to comply with Park Board rules, you may be asked to leave or be charged with a misdemeanor.

Children's Play Area Rules

These rules are in addition to posted park rules.

For Your Safety

No bikes within the playground
All adults must be accompanied by a child
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult
Play at your own risk - some features are meant to be challenging
Pets are not permitted
No skateboards or rollerblades
The play area is meant for children ages 2-12 years of age
Surfaces may become hot when exposed to direct sunlight
No glass within the playground
No smoking or tobacco products permitted
See specific equipment and features for additional recommendations
Remove sports helmets and clothing with drawstrings or accessories around the neck before playing on equipment

Sprayground Rules

These rules are in addition to posted park rules.

For Your Safety

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult
CAUTION! Water is recirculated. DO NOT drink.
No running or rough play
No gum or food permitted
No smoking or tobacco products permitted
Pets are not permitted

For Your Health

Take regular restroom breaks and change diapers only in restroom
Wash hands after using restroom or changing diapers
Anyone with diarrhea is not permitted to use sprayground
Anyone with an infectious wound or communicable disease is not permitted to use sprayground
If you fail to comply with sprayground rules, you may be asked to leave or be ticketed by the police

Pool Rules

These rules are in addition to posted park rules.

Any person under 16 years old must be accompanied by a person 18 years or older
- Pool staff may request to see ID for proof of age
One adult (18 and up) can accompany a maximum of four children under the age of 16
- Adults who accompany children are accepting responsibility for each child and must remain inside the pool at all times. If they exit the facility, the children must also leave
- Once an adult has entered the facility, he or she is unable to take responsibility for more children entering the pool, unless communicated upon entry
- Non-swimmers must be at an arm’s length from an adult at all times
- Children in life jackets must be accompanied by an adult in every area of the pool
Any person entering the facility must pay admission, even if the individual is not swimming
No refunds will be given
Swimming is prohibited when lifeguard is not on duty
There is no diving at the facility, except at designated areas
When jumping into the pool, swimmers must jump feet first and facing forward
The pool staff are responsible for the strict enforcement of all rules and polices. Failure to comply could result in ejection from the facility.
Children who require diapers, must wear swim diapers
Vomit or fecal incidents require patrons to exit the pool
- For stool/vomit incidents, guests will remain out of the pool for 30 minutes
- For diarrhea, the pool will close for 13 hours for cleansing
No smoking
No Pets
Snacks, small food items, and drinks are welcome
- No food or drink allowed within 5 feet of the pool
No running, boisterous or rough play
No alcohol or amplified music without a permit
No spitting or blowing nose in the pool
No glass allowed in the pool or on the deck
You should take a shower before entering the pool
No intimate contact allowed in the pool
Damage to property will not be permitted and violators will be held responsible.
During public pool hours, parties are not permitted on the pool deck including decorations or set ups of any kind. For information regarding throwing a party at the pool please visit zieglerpark.org.
Weather Policy
- In the case of thunder/lightening, patrons will be removed from the pool for 30 minutes.
- After each recurrence of thunder or lightening, the 30 minute period will restart
- Once the weather clears, management staff will reopen the pool
- No refunds will be given due to weather.
